Ink Cartridge Collection
Thumbprint is now supporting people with learning disabilities to collect ink cartridges. The people collecting the cartridges are paid for the cartridges they collect. Thumbprint gets paid for the cartridges by Tapping The Ink Well, a project run by Cartridge World in Harrogate.
Thumbprint has funding from Awards for All. This is to support the ink cartridge project in the first year while it is being set up; after that it should pay for itself and for the collectors out of the money raised from the ink cartridges collected.
Want to help us to raise funds and at the same time create employment opportunities for people with learning disabilities? We are now collecting used ink cartridges in the Lancaster and Morecambe area. You can help by becoming a collection point for used cartridges. If you are willing to help all you have to do is get in touch.
So don't throw those old cartridges in the bin. Recycle them - and at the same time help us raise funds and create opportunities for people to earn an income.
